The Rudd Clinic was founded in Toronto in 1969 by Dr. Wm Warren Rudd, M.D., FRCS(C), FACS. Dr. Rudd is a Fellow of the American Society of Colon & Rectal Surgeons.

The Rudd Clinic is a private out-patient clinic with a staff of 10 colon and rectal surgeons, and is one of the few out-patient facilities of its kind in the world. The services provided at our clinics are covered by Provincial health insurance plans.

Several new techniques have been developed at the Rudd Clinic, and a number of procedures modified to create more efficient, less painful and usually more effective treatment of anorectal problems.

Since its inception, the Rudd Clinic has saved millions of dollars in costs to patients, employers and insurers by using our innovative in-clinic techniques, and has saved even more by cancer prevention through in-clinic colonoscopy and removal of polyps during the examination.
